Snow
Hey Guys,
Sorry for the lack of blog lately. Not an awful whole lot to report on.. We have seen all we want to see in New Zealand now and after getting the flat, we are all just relaxing and having a really great time.
Queenstown is a great place to be and the snow is really starting to come now. Slowly but surely. We went to the 'Pray for Snow' party last night which was awesome, they give away tons of free stuff, Lucy won a day pass at Cardrona Ski Resort and Miranda won $10 worth of sweets.
We went to see the Freestylers DJ at a club called SubCulture the other night which was also really amazing. It didn't start till like 1am and went on for a good few hours after that so spent most of the next day in bed.
So for the next few months it's all change. Instead of finding a job and staying here for the entire season, we have decided to move on.. I love travelling and to stop and have a base for a couple months has been really heavenly. Having the house was the best idea we ever had! We've managed to catch up on 'Lost'! And various films. Have proper meals etc!
But.. Vic and I have decided, even though to stop for a while and chill has been relaxing and much needed we want to travel a bit more before heading back to England. As I said we have done all we wanted to do in New Zealand so..
After about 4 weeks of planning we have our next little trip all planned out. After Robyn has come to visit for a few weeks in July, Vic and I will fly into Hong Kong for a week. Even though I have been, Vic really wants to see it and I think I can find my way around now and show her a few of the sights!
Then onto Thailand for a month, some of our dutch friends from Mount Maunganui will be there and after the freezing temps here in Queenstown, i'm rather looking forward to the humidity.
Then India for a couple of weeks where we are going to do a tour of the country and see the Taj Mahal and all sorts which should be amazing before flying home in early September.
So that's the new plan. All booked. Yesterday. Scary. But very exciting. Missing everyone! Not too long now :)
