First Snow

The first snow fell last night! Not much but its topped off the mountains nicely. The proper snow sets in at the end of May.. Early June time.

We were all very excited this morning though! Snow! Snow! Snow!

By the way that line going up the side of the mountain is the gondola/cable car thing which we keep meaning to do..

I think these are 'The Remarkables' mountain range.

Home

Helloo.

Just a quick one to let you all know we have found a gorgeous flat. It's cheaper than staying at a backpackers. Crazyness!

We have our own log fire, dishwasher, washer, dryer and two balconies with the most fantastic views. Best of all we have our own rooms!

We drew straws about who got the en-suite as we just couldn't decide.. I got it which was nice. It worked out OK as the girls share the bathroom and don't shout at me for leaving the toilet seat up. All the rooms are pretty much the same and the girls can use the bath anytime they want so everyone is happy. We all have double beds too which is so much nicer than a bunk bed..

It's a massive flat, garage, own front door so it's more like a house really. We had a painter in to do the bathroom and he said we were so lucky to get it and that in about 4 weeks the town is going to be so crammed for the ski season and we just wouldn't be able to get a furnished place in the town centre this cheaply.

It's a really cool place, so cosy. Vic is in Fiji for a week and so Nic and I are having a week of chilling out and watching TV and doing nothing really! Just appreciating our own space! No more hostels woo!

The Lounge

The kitchen

Kicthen complete with dishwasher, walk in larder and garbage dispoal. Great fun for sticking food in.

Dining area. Not actually been used yet..

The view from the balcony in the lounge.

Stairs. It's like an upside down house. Bedrooms downstairs.

Vic's room. She's in Fiji for a week hence the tidyness.

Nic's Room

My room. I'll tidy it soon mum.

Actually reminds me a bit of my Bristol flat.

Me and the one of 17 heaters in the flat that keep it warm and toasty.

My en-suite. Backpacker no more.

See ya :)
